Taste of Kaiben

The most sought after feature of this super food !

Does the Kaiben taste change ?

Yes – Kaiben taste changes over time – and also for each batch of processing.

Here’s why –

The seeds are harvested from plants growing naturally along the himalayan hills. These are not GMO plants – grown in controlled environments.

(there’s a legend someone tried and failed)

This plant family demonstrates propagation radius of over 10kms – and the genetic variations over thousands of years have created substantially strong specimens. Meaning each family has influence. There are many such families.

They all mingle in the final oil to create the taste of Kaiben that our brains enjoy. There is no way to isolate these seeds to normalize the taste.

Depending on how many seeds from each of these families comes into the final seed mix – that output has a taste profile.

These profiles are very similar to how we experience taste difference when 2 different people make a pot of tea – the tastes are radically different. Taste profiles are subjective – just like the Scoville Heat Unit measurement for the level of heat in a chilly.

_I have heard that the ‘hempseed’ oil from other countries tastes different from Kaiben – inspite of the added flaxseed. Love to exchange notes._
